Volunteer Nest at the Elefsina Love Center

The programme "Volunteer Nest at the Elefsina Love Center" was implemented on 01/07/2011 - 30/06/2012 at the Children Support Centre of Elefsis, with funding from the Erasmus + Program under the action axis 2: European Voluntary Service.

The Children Support Centre of Elefsis operates mostly with volunteers on a daily basis. Their offer is very important for the proper operation of the Center. Wanting to strengthen this action and expand it beyond the borders of Greece, the Center is hosting a volunteer from Spain. The aim is to enable the volunteer to get to know and actively help in the work that has been carried out at the Center all these years, as well as to get to know the other volunteers of the Center, to exchange views and to cooperate. The volunteer from abroad is an equal member with the other volunteers and participates in all the activities of the Center. He is in constant contact with children, taking an active role in programs such as interactive games, crafts, constructions, theater, music, sports, etc.
