The Fortunate Islands project was implemented on 2-12 / 02/2015 in Lantharote, in the Canary Islands, with funding from the Erasmus + Program as part of the "Youth Exchange" action axis.
To be born or live on an island has its advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand is the isolation, the need to use the plane to leave the island, few media and transportation and higher prices for goods. But on the other hand there are numerous benefits: the climate, the scenery that is always surrounded by sea and tourism that arises as a result. So this exchange aims to share and exchange experiences, culture, tradition and, of course, gastronomy between European young people living on islands. We will organize a lot of workshops, activities and food tasting to express wonderful secrets of the traditional cuisine of the countries involved.
